Terms & Conditions

Welcome to You & Me Coach. By using this website and engaging in our coaching services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.  Updated 1.7.25.

1. Overview

This website and coaching service is owned and operated by James Harrod. The term "we", "us", and "our" refers to You & Me Coach. By accessing our site and/or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
 

2. Coaching Services

  • Coaching is a collaborative process designed to support your personal or professional development.

  • Coaching does not constitute therapy, counselling, or medical advice.

  • Any actions you take based on coaching discussions are your responsibility.
     

3. Booking & Payment

  • Initial chemistry sessions are offered free of charge and carry no obligation to continue.

  • Subsequent coaching sessions are charged per session or per package or as agreed in writing.

  • Full payment is required 48 hours in advance of each session or series of sessions.

  • Payments are accepted via all major credit cards or PayPal.
     

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

  • There will be no refunds for unused packages or sessions.

  • Cooling-Off Period
    Clients are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. If you change your mind within this period and coaching services have not yet commenced, you are eligible for a full refund.  If coaching has already begun (e.g. you’ve completed the first session as part of a multi-session package), the refund will apply only to the remaining unused sessions. For example, if you purchased a package of 6 sessions, completed 1 session, and choose not to continue, you would be entitled to a pro-rata refund for the remaining 5 sessions, provided you have let us know within 14 days after the first session.
     

5. Confidentiality

  • All coaching conversations are held in strict confidence.

  • We will not share any personal information discussed in sessions without your written consent, unless required by law or where there is risk of harm.

  • Your privacy is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
     

6. Client Responsibilities

  • You agree to take full responsibility for your decisions, actions, and outcomes.

  • You understand that coaching is a process and that results may vary depending on your personal input and engagement.

  • You are expected to be honest, respectful, and open to reflection during sessions.
     

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website — including articles, exercises, downloads, and session tools — remains the intellectual property of You & Me Coach unless stated otherwise.

  • You may not reproduce, share, or republish any material without prior written consent.
     

8. Limitation of Liability

  • You & Me Coach is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the website or coaching services.

  • While we strive to provide valuable insights and support, outcomes are not guaranteed.
     

9. Website Use

  • You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose or to interfere with its normal operation.

  • We may update or modify content at any time without prior notice.
     

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these terms at any time. Continued use of the website or coaching services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
